If you like the sound of this role our Health & Wellness sector specialist Jack Montague-Nelson can help you find your next career move.

Our client is a well-established international business, within the functional foods sector, that is in the process of creating a European operation, headquartered in the UK.

Location Home Counties

An expert in Consumer Goods, namely food and drink, their offering is ‘on trend’ and has enjoyed exponential growth over the last five years. Currently a limited number of retailers sell their products within the EU, however with the creation of a new local organisation, sales and distribution channels will increase and become more diverse. Similarly, product supply routes will also develop to serve European markets. As such as the business evolves, processes and ways of working similarly need to adapt, with the successful candidate instrumental in this ‘journey’.

We are recruiting a Supply Chain Controller who will join the business at a great time and will help shape the future direction and structure of Supply Chain. They will be instrumental in maintaining customer service and facilitating revenue growth.

The successful candidate will have a breadth of expertise across Supply Chain, with a strength in planning yet having experience in warehousing, distribution and procurement would be a distinct advantage. They will manage the planning process across supply and demand, as well as facilitate the successful movement of product to ensure it is on time, in full and at the right place. In the creation of a robust yet agile supply chain creating a futureproofed solution is key, as new distribution channels, customers and products are added.

This is a ‘hands on’ individual contributor role, who will act as an ambassador for Supply Chain both externally and internally, working with ease cross functionally across commercial, technical and manufacturing as well as with the parent organisation. With the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the business. As an adaptable ‘doer’ they will also need to be solutions led, a strategic thinker to propose new ways of working and create optimised processes and performance.
