Brief
With the company undergoing a period of significant, exciting and positive change, leading to a renewed focus on the people agenda, they needed to appoint an HR Director to provide a proactive, generalist and multi-channel Human Resource service across the whole business in both the UK, Ireland and Australia. This renewed focus is around best in class recruitment, induction, L&D, communication, engagement, recognition and reward to deliver results with pace, supporting and developing the way in which the company’s people work, communicate and engage with each other.
Drayton Partners were retained to identify and recruit this position to drive this change throughout the business.

A targeted search within the retail sector was undertaken by the Drayton team, arriving at a short list of candidates who all had relevant and previous experience in turning around and driving change across the HR function, both at head office and on the shop floor.
