The team at Drayton have successfully secured an outstanding new Chief Operating Officer for the private equity backed Symingtons. Symingtons is a leading food business backed by ICG (Intermediate Capital Group).
John Power has been appointed to this new role and will take responsibility for all of the operational elements of the group, reporting to David Salkeld, CEO. John has extensive operational leadership experience and was most recently Operations and Quality Director of Mauri ANZ, a key business within the Associated British Food Group. John was based in Australia, and is relocating back to the UK as part of the project. In total he spent 9 years with ABF, joining the business in 2007 from the British military.
Drayton Partners led a comprehensive search process across the food industry, both domestically and internationally, and were determined to identify an individual with extensive operational expertise but also outstanding broader leadership capability.
