Along with businesses such as Ginsters, Faith in Nature, Nestlé Purina, Candy Kittens, Drayton was named as a Bronze award winner in recognition of our support and promotion of GroceryAid’s phenomenal work. While there are so many exciting events to take part in to achieve this award, Drayton’s contribution included:
GroceryAid D&I event
Laura Edmond attended the D&I in Grocery Live! in October, which she found to be an insightful and thought-provoking event, tackling key discussions effecting the industry. The highlight for Laura was Tarsila Calvo, Head of Customer Supply Chain at Rickett, emphasising the importance of truly understanding your people. #FreedomtoSucceed.
And relevant to all future employers is the impact of Generation Alpha – 7 million young people entering the workforce. Notably, only 13% of them aspire to work for an employer. Creativity and innovation are essential for attracting this generation to your business going forward.
Fundraiser in the London office
Drayton came together to raise much-needed funds to support the great work GroceryAid do to support those who need it most in the industry. With generous support from our wonderful clients and candidates who supplied amazing prizes for our raffle along with a bake sale, hosted at our London office. Thanks to all their hard work and dedication, we successfully raised over £1000 for GroceryAid.
Other activities
Throughout the years, Byron contributed his fair share to raise awareness for GroceryAid, breaking some bones along the way! He cycled from London to Brussels one year and another from Morecombe to Whitby – not all in one go, we might add.
GroceryAid is a wonderful charity, one that makes a huge, positive impact in our sector - Drayton are so proud to be involved in supporting them with their mission.
Here’s to our continued support.
