About the Role:

The Group Financial Controller will report directly into the Group Finance Director and is a key member of the Finance Leadership Team.

This highly visible role will be responsible for financial controls, monthly/quarterly/annual consolidation and external reporting, global accounting processes, and finance systems across the entire organisation.

Responsibilities:

The Group Financial Controller will work alongside Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, FP&A, Tax & Treasury, Shared Finance Centre, Project Teams and Regional Finance Directors and their accounting organisations.

The candidate will be able to work “hands on” at times, but also identify, execute and lead strategically important new financial process implementations to allow the business to further scale and deliver on its growth agenda.

This role will have leadership over a team of c. 20 people and will also partner with the CFO and finance leadership team stakeholders in talent and team development across the organisation.

Essential Experience:

Candidates must have worked in a Group or Regional Finance leadership role, within a large scale consumer facing organisation. There is a strong preference for candidates to have worked in a PLC.

It's essential that candidates have proven, expert understanding of all operational accounting aspects and their inter-relationship with financial accounting, budgeting/forecasting and operations support.

Candidates will also have been successful in leading high performing Finance teams, working in a senior management team and influencing non-financial managers across a large and diverse organisation.
